Kami of the crescent moon12/27/2023 Your opponents will end up "wasting" a lot of their extra draws on lands they can't play. But beyond that you can run a little lighter and draw into them. Basically you want to play the Kami on turn 2 every game, meaning 2 untapped blue sources are essential. The Kami himself, ], ], ], and even ].Ībility to be greedy with lands. In all versions of the deck, I take advantage of the following aspects of the Kami:Ībility to reliably see more of your deck than other people would expect to There's a lot of overlap, but in my early days of playing it I definitely muddied things up with too much overlap. In my experience, there are a few different ways you can take the deck. Ok so I have a few different Kami decks online and one in paper. ] and ] probably ought to be in there once I get my hands on some. Some of the options I'm already considering are: ], ], ], ], ], ], ], and ].Ĭheaper/better counterspells like ] would be helpful. ] is an obvious choice for bumping up my life. ] and ] both help me a ton in the damage department if I have to rely on my backup plans. Other backup plans are ] and ], with even an ] to ensure they'll hit. Since I play against quite a few mill decks, ] is in there to save me if Lab Maniac gets milled. Using all of this draw, the goal is to set me up with a ] and draw out with something like ]. It also uses copy effects like ] to get even more extra turns out of each cast. It uses ] effects, including the commander, to allow me to draw several cards a turn, so each extra turn is likely to draw me into another. I'd love to hear any suggestions - the one exception is ], as I know it can be a key part of winning with this general, but I don't think it'd be fun to play against.Ĭurrently, it aims to win by taking several extra turns in a row. Looking to make improvements to this ] deck (list: ).
